Who is responsible

Walker Small Business Solutions (WALKER SBS) is responsible for personal information collected through this website. The business owner handles privacy questions and requests. Use our privacy request form to reach that person directly.

This policy covers the public website and its inquiry forms. Information handled in a commissioned business application is governed by that project’s agreement and applicable privacy information.

What we collect

You can browse the site without providing your name or contact details. When you submit a form, the following information is stored:

Website data collection
FormInformation
ContactName, email address and message; business name and phone number if supplied; permission to reply and any separate promotional consent.
Project inquiryContact details, business name, project description, and any sector, category, existing tools, managed-service plan preference, budget range, timeline or handover preference you choose to provide.
Privacy requestName, reply email, request type, message and permission to handle the request. No promotional consent is requested.
Submission recordsSubmission time, a random reference number and the status of an owner notification.

Project inquiries may also retain a referring site’s hostname and the campaign values utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. These values are limited to short text containing letters, numbers, spaces, dots, underscores and hyphens. Full referring URLs and other query-string values are not stored with the inquiry. Do not put personal information in campaign links.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, identification documents, health information or other confidential material. These forms do not accept attachments.

How information is used

We use the information you provide to understand your inquiry, assess a possible project, respond using your contact details and handle privacy requests. Selected campaign information helps us understand how an inquiry reached the website. We also use limited technical information to operate the site and reduce spam.

Permission to reply is separate from optional promotional consent. Promotional consent is unchecked by default. There is no automated marketing delivery system connected to this website. We do not sell inquiry information or use it for targeted advertising.

Storage and service providers

Form submissions are saved in a dedicated database outside the public website directory. The website does not send the contents of your inquiry by email and has no email notification integration.

We may receive a text alert when you submit a form. It contains only a reference number, not your contact details or message.

Hosting, backups and communication services may process information outside your province or Canada, where local laws may apply. Access is limited to the business owner and authorised service providers who need it to operate or support the website. We may also retain or disclose information where required by law or to address a security incident. A future project or new use of information will be discussed separately.

Links to external sites open services governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control those sites.

Cookies and demonstrations

The site uses an essential antiforgery cookie to help protect form submissions. It does not load advertising trackers, analytics tools or a third-party CAPTCHA. You can block cookies in your browser, although the forms may then fail their security checks.

Internet connections and hosting logs may include an IP address, browser information, request path and time. The application uses IP addresses temporarily to limit repeated submissions and does not add them to the inquiry database. Production access-log settings are controlled by the hosting configuration.

The inventory, scheduling, reporting and invoice demonstrations use fictitious sample data. Changes and sample records exist in the current page’s memory and disappear on reload. They do not access a customer database. The invoice example is a scripted simulation: it accepts no uploads and makes no live AI or OCR calls. Form messages are not sent to an AI provider.

Retention and security

The website’s inquiry retention period is currently 90 days from submission. Older submissions are deleted after this period. Backup copies may remain temporarily before they are removed. If a project proceeds, records needed for that relationship or a legal obligation may be retained separately under the relevant agreement and requirements.

We use measures such as restricted database access, encoded output, form validation, antiforgery protection and rate limiting. Live deployment requires HTTPS and protected server configuration. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please send only the information needed to discuss your request.

Your choices and requests

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy or correction, ask for deletion, withdraw promotional consent or raise a concern. Use the privacy request form. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that has already taken place and may limit our ability to continue an inquiry.

We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing information. We ask only for information reasonably needed for that verification. Do not upload identification documents through this website. Deletion and access may be subject to applicable legal obligations or exceptions; we will explain a limitation rather than treating a form submission as an automatic deletion.

Requests are reviewed by a person, and we aim to respond promptly within applicable legal time limits. If your concern is not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another privacy regulator with jurisdiction.
